New parts cleaning system in operation

Successful premiere for the new parts cleaning system "CS1000 V". It has a throughput of up to 32 cages per hour and thus, four times more than the previous system. Moreover, the "CS1000 V" is equipped with an ultrasonic cleaning that is now switched in every program process as standard. In the future, contamination is eliminated even better, where a new level with regards to process improvement and safety has been achieved. The cleaning chamber has been designed such that bodies up to DN 400 including flange connection, can be cleaned free of oil and grease in a process-safe manner.

The fixed LNG filling station

In Hamburg, Shell has opened the first fixed installed LNG filling station. Ulm and Berlin already had publicly accessible LNG filling stations, but these were mobile systems. In The Netherlands, Shell already operates seven LNG filling stations, and one in Belgium. In the next 18 months, Shell is planning up to another four filling stations in Germany. The nitrogen oxide emissions of an LNG HGV are up to 70 percent less than from diesel vehicles.
